Financial Problems for DPH Motorsport in Australia

The DPH motorsport team in Australia enjoyed one of its most successful seasons ever this year. The team collected both the prestigious Australian outdoor titles with Wilson Todd and Todd Waters. Now it seems that the team has landed in serious financial troubles and has closed its doors after having been declared bankrupt. It appears that Yamaha, who supported the team before it moved across to Husqvarna in 2018, had sued the team.

Waters participated in the Australian supercross championship on own steam with support from Husqvarna after the closure of the team. Wilson Todd was injured early on during the supercross championship, which eliminated him from participation for the rest of the series.

It is unclear what the future holds for the team. At this moment, activities have ceased, and we will keep you updated as to developments in this regard.
