Het aftellen is nu echt begonnen. Nog slechts vier dagen en dan gaan alle remmen los tijdens de tweede wedstrijd van de Dutch Masters of Motocross in Oldebroek (zaterdag 26 april). Harfsen was een fantastische start van het kampioenschap maar ook voor de wedstrijd in Oldebroek is de animo groot.
In eerdere berichten kon u al lezen dat de 500 klasse een hele spannende zal gaan worden. Jeffrey Herlings keert in Oldebroek terug na een vervelende knieblessure. Hij zal het op gaan nemen tegen de snelle Fransman Romain Febvre, die momenteel tweede staat in het wereldkampioenschap. Maar ook Jago Geerts, Calvin Vlaanderen, Conrad Mewse en Brian Bogers komen naar Oldebroek. Bogers neemt ook zijn teammaat binnen het Fantic Factory Racing Team, Andrea Bonacorsi, mee naar Oldebroek. De Italiaan is in vorm want het afgelopen weekend miste hij het MXGP podium in Zwitserland op een haar en werd vierde.
Ook in de MX2 klasse zal er flink gestreden gaan worden. Cas Valk komt als leider in het kampioenschap naar Oldebroek en zal het op gaan nemen tegen Rick Elzinga, Ferruccio Zanchi, David Braceras en Gyan Doensen. Ook is vandaag bekend geworden dat de gebroeders Reisulis naar Oldebroek komen en in de MX2 klasse van start zullen gaan. Janis staat momenteel aan de leiding in de EMX250 klasse en Karlis is de teammaat van Rick Elzinga binnen het Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2 team. Ook in deze klasse dus genoeg toppers aan de start waardoor het genieten gaat worden in Oldebroek.

The countdown has truly begun. Just four more days until the gates drop for the second round of the Dutch Masters of Motocross in Oldebroek (Saturday, April 26). Harfsen delivered a fantastic start to the championship, and enthusiasm is running high for the upcoming event in Oldebroek as well.
Earlier reports already hinted at how exciting the 500 class is shaping up to be. Jeffrey Herlings will return to racing in Oldebroek following a troublesome knee injury. He’ll go head-to-head with the fast Frenchman Romain Febvre, who is currently second in the World Championship standings. Also lining up in Oldebroek are Jago Geerts, Calvin Vlaanderen, Conrad Mewse, and Brian Bogers. Bogers will be joined by his Fantic Factory Racing teammate Andrea Bonacorsi. The Italian is in excellent form, having narrowly missed the MXGP podium in Switzerland last weekend, finishing fourth.
The MX2 class will be just as fiercely contested. Cas Valk heads to Oldebroek as the championship leader and will face off against Rick Elzinga, Ferruccio Zanchi, David Braceras, and Gyan Doensen. It has also been announced today that the Reisulis brothers will be racing in Oldebroek in the MX2 class. Janis currently leads the EMX250 Championship, and Karlis is Rick Elzinga’s teammate in the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2 team. With so many top riders on the starting line, the MX2 class promises plenty of action for fans to enjoy in Oldebroek.
